Fall 2: Deadpoint | Full Movie | Movies Anywhere

On a visceral level, it absolutely worked for me.

It's all extremely stupid. The film's failure is that it doesn't capitalize on that stupidity and lean into it, opting instead to aim for emotional beats that don't land.

…there’s an immersive element to the first film that’s less effective this time around; the contrivances to get the characters into their predicament is more distracting, and the obstacles the characters face become rather risible…

There are thrills to be had along the way, but Deadpoint ultimately proves that bigger certainly doesn’t mean better.

Even though 2022's Fall wasn't a great movie, at least it had believability in its story about two women trapped in a dangerously high place. Fall 2: Deadpoint is an inferior sequel whose credibility and suspense plummet into an abyss of dull stupidity.
