Chance Buckman leads a brave team extinguishing dangerous oil well fires around the world. When an accident reconnects him with his estranged wife and daughter, family tensions flare, especially as his daughter falls for a fellow firefighter. Amid the fires and turmoil in his life, Chance fights to save lives and to win back the woman he once lost.

All the ingredients (cliches) of the John Wayne hero are here, from commitment to his job as firefighter to a wife who couldn't accept him to a daughter who affects reconciliation.
