Urban is a charming / acerbic balm that soothes the self-serious issues that plagued the first one. While the plot is still gibberish and the dialogue is generally rudiementary at best, this sequel is actually how they should've led off the franchise.

Unapologetically a Mortal Kombat movie. A ridiculous, bloody, visually fun B-movie that captures the spirit of the games.
