Following the brutal murder of her husband, a Kansas highway patrol officer (Georgina Campbell) sets out on a journey to track down the perpetrator. As the hunt progresses, she comes to realize the man responsible (James Preston Rogers) is a sadistic serial killer, and the depth of his mental depravity and his sinister agenda is more twisted than anyone could have imagined. Some flashing lights sequences or patterns may affect photosensitive viewers.

This film has clearly been tampered with. From its bizarre editing to some truly horrendous ADR, Psycho Killer barely feels like full movie, much less a cohesive one. Georgina Campbell is innocent, though.

More concerned with amplifying serial-killer tropes than generating consistent suspense, this lurid cat-and-mouse thriller is dead on arrival.

There's a satisfying Midwest winter vibe in this thriller, and Jane is a likable-enough character, but she's given a movie that almost isn't a movie; the things that happen here don't seem connected.
